My 15 year old son is stuttering

Hi,
our son is now 15 years old. He has been stuttering on and off for many years.

Lately it has intensified. Interestingly enough, he stutters more when he is with people he knows.

Sometimes when he is with my wife and I, he really struggles. What should we do?

Who should we see. We live in New York City metro area.

Any advice will be highly appreciated.
