Teenage Daughter having trouble speaking

I have a very intelligent daughter. We have noticed in the last few months that sometimes her words don't come out what she is thinking. She stutters trying to get words out.

I notice usually when she is upset. She also had a car wreck months ago but they said CT Scan was fine. Could this be from anxiety? What is it called?
