Suddenly not pronouncing s sounds

Hi!!!

My five year old was speaking naturally and pronouncing words absolutely fine until about two weeks ago. Suddenly, he is no longer pronouncing his s’s and it sounds like he is using the back and sides of him tongue to try and annunciation, instead of the tip. It’s really confusing as he was speaking clearly before. Any ideas why this may be happening? Thank you!!!
