Speech therapy at home question

Hello
I am working with my 3 year old to correct some sounds
He has alot of the sounds wrong my question is
How long to focus on one sound ?
Untill he can speak it right in all his speech or what? Cause he has alot of wrong sounds and he only get them right when force him in our session
