Speech delay in 5 year old.

My son is almost 5.

He has a speech delay.

When he was younger he could verbalise cartoon programs verbatim.

But when it came to face to face interaction he would be mute and prefers to lead you by the hand to get what he wants.

Nowadays he only blurts out incomprehensible sounds. What may be wrong?

I live in Nigeria and need directions on what to do.
