Pronouncing the R sound

by Ashlee

Hi I'm a 22 year old college student and I still can't pronounce the R sound properly. I don't have any issues if the word starts with R but if it's in the middle of the word my Rs sound like Os. My teacher put me in speech tharapy class in 5th grade but that actually make it worse and more noticeable. I grew up around a lot of people with different accents but have never been outside of the U.S. so I don't know if it's a speech problem or an accent I created from being around all of thoughs people. Either way I'm trying to get rid of it but I don't know about going to therapy again since it made everything worse the first time. Any thought or suggestion would be a great help, thanks.
