Echo After Speech

My 5 year old has just started finishing some words with an echo, he might say ' are we going out-t-t-t-t' with a well pronounced 't' repeated a few times quietly, he's aware he does it but it has only started the last few days and mainly with a 't' sound?

Is this something that should be looked into? Or more of a fad type thing?
