Does the Person You Talk to Influence Your Stammering?

by W Gianocca
(Zürich)

Hello, my stammering is actually quite sporadical, and yet sometimes it is so violent I can hardly bring out any word...

Through the years I have developed some sort of theory that it is in fact the person you talk with who has the biggest impact on your speech, respectively your stammering.

I now decided to write my Matura Paper (that's a paper you need to write in switzerland to pass the exam which allows you the entrance to univerities) about this subject, "the influence of the person you're talking with on your stammering."

I was wondering if other people had some experience or knew any books about that.

Thank you in advance.
