Can't pronounce the L and R sound

by Shaurya
(India)

I'm 18 and I've been having trouble in pronouncing the R and L sounds ever since I was a kid.
Though very Late, I've started to develop a feeling of complexity and under confidence, which shrinks from expressing my views in front of people, though I love to talk.
I've been watching some videos on how to pronounce the sounds correctly, which seems almost impossible as I just can't pronounce the way it is supposed to be,even after practicing since many days now.
All I wanted to know is whether this problem of mine is remedial . Should I keep trying, or should I try to overcome my fear and continue speaking the way I've been familiar with all these years.
Replies will very well be appreciated.
Thankyou!
