Can't get words out.

Hi, my 3yo has really good speech I'd say for his age. However over the last month we have noticed he has struggled a few times to get his words out. So he may simply be having his dinner and want to say can I have that spoon mummy...I can see he is really trying but the words don't come and then he will say. I can't speak properly mummy...I tell him to think about what he wants to say and say then slowly and most times it will come out eventually. This has started out the blue. I'd say I've seen it about 4 times ...my partner has noticed too. At the time it happens he is not scared, excited or sad...he may be doing normal things and it just happens..should I been concerned? Thank you
