Ok, I have always thought that when giving a test like PLS-5, if the child achieved a basal at a younger age and then another at an older age, you choose the one closest to the ceiling (older). However, the PPVT-4 says to choose the very first basal achieved. So that means that if a child scores 0,0,1,1,1 on the first sets administered, I would use the first set of 0 errors. I thought it should be the last set with 1 error. Help!
