The Evaluating Acquired Skills in Communication (EASIC) is a communication skills inventory in five levels.  The inventory provides a systematic tool for assessing a student’s communication skills in the areas of semantics, syntax, morphology, and pragmatics.   Each skill level can be profiled on a developmental age chart to provide comparison with ages at which those skills are normally acquired.        demonstrated strengths in the skill areas of      .  The following skills are considered emerging or not yet developed:      .
