Prosody

by Laurie
(NY)

I have a student on the autism spectrum who is working on speech sounds (S, R, SH).

While working on his articulation, he breaks up the words and speaks extremely slowly.

I haven't been able to get him to use more appropriate prosody, so his generalization of sounds is very, very slow to conversation.

Any hints?
