How do I encourage my 6-year-old son to pronounce things correctly in his everyday life, not just when working one-on-one?

Hello!

I have been working on speech almost nightly with my six-year-old son. He has slight problems with "th" but major problems with "r" and pronounces them as w's.

I have printed many sheets that focus on these sounds and when we work together, he does well. He can successfully and correctly repeat the correct sound that he hears from me.

My question is, how do I encourage him (get him to) work on this on his own..in the classroom and also in everyday conversation with the people he encounters?

Any help that you can offer would be immensely appreciated!

Jamie
