Q: Why Can't I Get the Screeners to Work?

A: The screeners work best with the latest version(s) of Internet Explorer and/or Mozilla Firefox. If you don't have recent versions of these browsers...that could be why the screeners won't work.

1. Check your browser(s) to see if you have the latest version of Internet Explorer and/or Mozilla Firefox.

2. Another possible explanation why they might not be working is if you are trying to access them from a work or school computer.
   
   I have worked in a large school district and they had a really high internet filter that wouldn't let some (a lot of) information through sometimes.
   
   I apologize if this is the case because, it doesn't help much if you're trying to use them for students at school or in a private practice.
   
   If this is the problem my suggestions are...
   
   
   1. Speak with the IT people who are in charge of the firewall and see if they can add our site to a safe sites list or whatever they may call it.
   
   
   2. If someone you know has one of those portable Wi-fi hotspots (like the ones you can get through Verizon or T-Mobile), use the Wi-fi from that and a personal laptop or iPad.
   
   
   3. Try accessing it on a home computer using your personal internet (not a school or work computer).
   
   
3. Download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.

This is the question I get asked most. The above 3 responses have cleared up people's problems 100% of the time because after giving them the suggestions I never heard back that they were having problems.

So I have assumed that no news is good news.
