Downs Syndrome

I have a 2 1/2 year old patient with Down's Syndrome that I am providing speech therapy for in a home health setting.

I am struggling with getting him to produce approximations or true words.

He is able to produce variegated babbling but it is not intentional.

He is able to use modified signs fairly well.

Any suggestions for treatment strategies or Apps that would increase his verbal skills?
